render size crashing

i set up my scene and i increase the render size from default to 2048 x 1024. It crashed every time when i tried to increase the render size. Everytime it will close the program and on the window task bar it shows window successful recover the video card driver failure. Currently i have nvidia GTX 260 1.8G and running with Cuda driver. Help Please

Did you try resizing before clicking the node button to start the render? I had this problem before the newest release.

i have the same problem for both 2.1beta and 2.2 RC and this is what my computer show me when the application was forced to shut down

i tried ur method, but still crashing but i am able to resize it to 2048x512

Did you tried the solution found here ? http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=21&t=824
It worked for me. I've seen also that bigger renders take a lot of CG memory: something like 350 Mb for 4096x4096 render.

as atome said, apply the registry fix please, that will fix it.
