Below is our company Christmas card. The first image was the main card and the images below are "just for fun" shots. There's a bit of space at the top above the house, which is where the text went on the actual card. It was really nice to do this and take a break from the usual work! I really want some candy now.
So perfect! Textures, model, everything. Especially the JuJubes. And the candy canes. And the gingerbread and icing.
*My ONLY real crit is...not on the rendering or modeling or anything like that. If that first image is your card, the fold will crease your Welcome sign. Right down the middle. Move it off the center of the card. Maybe closer on the path. That's it! (i used to work for a printer and did all the cutting and folding. =)
Oh, and DIO has a good point. This thing is miniature. Could really benefit from an extreme DOF. Think tilt-swing photography.
DOI, You are absolutely correct with your DOF comment. I've been doing so many large scale objects lately, I wasn't thinking scale on this one. I've revised one of the images below -- better?
Also, Olitech -- I should have mentioned, the first image is the entire front of the 5x7 card, so no crease goes down it! And thanks for the kind comments!
