Hey all,
While waiting for work renders to finish, I decided to set up this thread strictly for fun 'non work' projects and sketches. This is where I will post random things.
First one is a project that I've vowed NEVER to finish. I playfully call this study 'The Secret Life of Tauntauns'. My favourite non-existent creature of all time. (besides the jackalope)
A sculpt I did couple of years ago using 3D Coat. I was not going to post this (because the eye expression still looks really goofy to me); but after 'Octanizing' this model and jonesing over all the SSS skin tests I've been seeing, I just couldn't resist.
This model has not been retopo'ed, rigged, painted, normalized or furred up. This may happen one day, but don't count on it. Just a straight-up voxel export. Was trying to achieve a leathery, slightly reptilian skin shader and just got carried away.
best,
O

I always liked this creature too. Don´t you want to make the bowels and spill them in the snow
?
Really nice sculpting (or voxeling). I like the Horn material.
Can you post a wireframe?

Nice beast Olitech.
My only comment would be that she would not be able to get much in her mouth since those horns are in the way! Poor thing.
Great lighting.

You'd have to take that up with George Lucas. ;^)Seekerfinder wrote:Nice beast Olitech.
