Hi
Really looking forward to this. If Paul does as well on this as he has with Poser it should be brilliant.

Looking good Paul! Interesting to see the way you implemented octane nodes in the schematic view.

Looks awesome ! It's been a long time since I used octane, but with this I looks like I will have to pick it up again !
If I remember correctly you could click on the renderd image to pick materials to edit in Octane just as in the Modo preview, I hope that feature from both will work with this, because a lot of scenes I work with have hundreds of materials.

Yes, material and focus picking from the Viewport will both be available. If I remember correctly you could click on the renderd image to pick materials to edit in Octane just as in the Modo preview, I hope that feature from both will work with this, because a lot of scenes I work with have hundreds of materials.

That is just so awesome =) Would it be possible to set it up with a cardview in Modo to have the render window "integrated" with the modo layout ?Yes, material and focus picking from the Viewport will both be available.
I think the cardview could be used, but then you would not be able to material pick and focus pick, and I think material pick in particular is incredibly important, so at the moment it's a separate window.Would it be possible to set it up with a cardview in Modo to have the render window "integrated" with the modo layout ?
