Does FumeFX work with Octane?

Does anyone have any experience/insight with FumeFX + Octane?

Octane doesn't support any fluids
Win 7 x64 | GTX560Ti | Core i7 960 3.2GHz | 24GB RAM

Octane only supports triangles. So if you can triangulate before rendering you should be able to get something to work.
For fluids this can work well with a standard specular material with some absorption/scattering to make it look how you want.
For smoke or flames etc this may not feasible.

Looks like we will have to look for a workaround.

Off the top of my head, running FumeFX through Krakatoa then converting particles to geometry might be promising. We shall see!
