Hi,

sorry if it has been asked or is too "easy", yet I didnt find a forum post about it:

How do I export octane materials from blender plugin? Eg. save to hard disk or save to livedb?

TIA

You can't save to liveDB or a local db (yet). If you wan't to use the materials in another project you could append/link the materials from another file as usual, i guess.

situation: Id like to use some materials from blender-octane in the normal octane application.

No clue how to do that...

As far as i know (i think JimStar said this somewhere) there is currently no way to create a scene in blender-octane and to export it for further processing in Octane standalone. You could try the old exporter, but than you have to do all the setup in the standalone renderer.
