Preview of OctaneRender for Carrara

Hi folks,

Our ecosystem of integrated plug-ins keeps expanding at an enormous rate with 15 announced plug-ins so far, of which 12 have been released (and there are still a few yet to be announced plug-ins that are in development). Today we're proud to announce that an integrated plug-in is being developed for Carrara from Daz Studio by Simon Guard (Sighman on the forum).

Carrara users will be pleased to know that they will soon be able to experience OctaneRender's dazzling speed and quality from inside Daz Studio's Carrara, allowing an instantaneous photoreal preview of the scene while editing cameras, lights, materials and objects in the scene.

Great to see replicators supported already. I guess hair may have to wait for later, but does it support Carrara plants? Terrains? HDRI backgrounds? Very exciting times!

This is GREAT news and made me an Otoy customer. I just got Octane and the Daz Studio beta plugin, and I'm very impressed. I'm really looking forward to the Carrara plugin.

t_3 has done a fantastic job (and continues to do so) with OcDs (his Daz Studio plugin) and I look forward to expanding my Octane family of plugins with Carrara joining in the party
