Forgive me if this is a silly question, but I'm a bit stumped. I'm running dual 2G GeForce GTX 680 cards. The Octane DS plugin recognizes that both are there. However, under Usage Statistics it only shows 2048M of VRAM memory available. I'm already running into issues where I run out of usable memory and start losing textures. Shouldn't the available memory be 4096M? Did I miss a setting somewhere?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi rbennett2040, when it comes to gpu-rendering, only the cores actually adds up but the memory doesn't. Even if you put another video card with a larger memory on top of your 2x GTX680 cards, your scene still has to fit into the memory of that card with the least amount of memory.

Thanks for the quick response. That clears it up nicely.
