That's really nice. My usual crit (edges too sharp etc) isn't applicable in this case: you have nailed it. I like the attention to detail - the way various parts of the model are subtly warped or uneven the way they would be in real life.

From a "real life" point of view (and this is a feature of 3D in general not your piece) it would be really nice if in addition to instancing there was also a way to do some subtle variation to the instances automatically like in this siggraph paper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcK2z6AOZcA
so that all the leaves didn't appear to be identical and spoil the illusion of reality.

Anyways, awesome work.

Nice work and details! I agree with @xxdanbrowne, it would be great if you'd have more variation in the instances, it would make the vegetation more lifelike
