Hello aoktar,
attention!!!
There is a problem when switching between projects while update geometry is activated. (using C4D R14)
Please Test.
Detail:
I have rendered a scene in Live-Preview with "update-geometry" activated, then I switch to another scene and simply refresh the live-preview. What happens is that the last scene that was active before is suddenly closed !! without saving !! This happens as long the update-gemotry funktion is on. If turn off and refresh different scenes, everything is fine, nothing gets closed.
Thanks again for this pretty nice update

Just tried Cinema Physical Sky and it works, sort of....
Initial render using the Octane Live Viewer is all black, then when I navigate the scene, the Live Viewer renders the scene OK.
However, if I try to render using the Picture Viewer with Octane as the chosen render, then the scene renders all black.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

no, there is no real support for that. Use sunlight or directlight instead of PS. Plugin uses Octane Daylight environment for each one.artdude12 wrote:Just tried Cinema Physical Sky and it works, sort of....

what is your r15 subversion? I can open without problem. We should wait some more for real support on R15.RK-art wrote:Hi Aoktar,
what about the missing Octane render settings window and the non working preview render (remains black) under R15 ?

Aoktar, I see 0.8.2b in your video was this released or just your copy?
I cant get 0.82 to work without crashing, have to keep going back to 0.79

it's very strange some people talking about crashes. But never crashes on my pc's even very complex projects. I'm really fooling with this.buzby wrote:Aoktar, I see 0.8.2b in your video was this released or just your copy?I cant get 0.82 to work without crashing, have to keep going back to 0.79
What kind of crashes you say? In live viewer? With geometry updates? R14/R15? i need more details.
Also i saw you thread about phong angles. It seems like bad triangulation issues.
