Well, I know that there are several issues and reasons can cause that.
The symptom is this : Rendering stops, regardless of animation length and memory usage.
Did anybody experience that ?
There may be many many reasons for that regardless of the plugin ,Octane engine and LightWave.
In my workstation when I`m rendering, I disable everything (even antivirus) and I just use my workstation for rendering and it`s a pure system BUT anything can happen, since we are using windows.
BUT IF at least 1 more user experienced that, it must be something about Octane environment.
Anybody ?

Rendering stops in animation

We have seen this issue long time ago, while beta testing the plugin, but I don't get reports about rendering problems in the last months.
Are you rendering the sequences only updating the scene or with full scene reload?
What GPUs are your using?
If you have a simple scene that show this problem that you could share with me I could test it here to see what could be the problem.
Also can be useful the log file of the rendering until it stops. You can enable the log in the plugin options and send to me the log file.

Lightning fast as always... What are you man ? Are you really human ??? I`ve never had support & replies such fast in my life. You are precious.
Full scene reload. "Only transformations" would be cheaper though.juanjgon wrote:We have seen this issue long time ago, while beta testing the plugin, but I don't get reports about rendering problems in the last months.

I am sending you the scene.juanjgon wrote: If you have a simple scene that show this problem that you could share with me I could test it here to see what could be the problem.
I didn`t enable logging but I`ll render a lot and I`m enabling logging. I`ll send you the output.juanjgon wrote: Also can be useful the log file of the rendering until it stops. You can enable the log in the plugin options and send to me the log file.

I am rendering your scene here and after 70 frames all works fine, using 2 x GTX670 GPUs. I tell you if I could reproduce the problem.
Can you please try to render scene only with two GPUs for example?, and not using the same GPU for rendering and display.
Perhaps there is a problem with your hardware, but we need to make more tests.

I had a similar issue, I had just bought 2 new video cards though. After checking each card individually with renders the render always failed on one of the cards but worked fine with the other card. When both cards were active the render would always crap out at the same point. Turns out one of the cards was faulty, I returned it the following day, installed the replacement and everything has worked ever since.

Juan...
It happened again twice...
There is nothing abnormal in log file. It just says " ... Init rendering ... " just like in previous frames. It was a 290 frame run and it went well 207 frames (in 3hours 30minutes) but then stopped, telling "RENDERING 0%"...
I need more paranoid debugging options to feed the logfile. Any options for that ?
I`ll send you the logfile via pm
