Trees and grass

If one would like to add trees and grass to a scenery, if Forest Pack by iToo the way to go?

Or are there other / better tools?

What are your experiences?

So Forest Pack is actually just tools for scattering? And one have to buy trees and plants extra?

Any good plants / trees for 3ds and octane?

Well now I purchased the Forest Pack Pro - and I'm playing around.

Has anyone in the forum experience with Forest Pack Pro (4.1.1 beta)?

Is there some tips and tricks I should know? is rightclick > octane properties > Moveable proxy for any good?

Thanks - have a lot to learn!

ps. 3ds crashes a lot if I import objects from the free models an then convert materials in the octane panel

And it seems that octanes Material Converter won't convert 2d materiales
