Try asking Maxon!!! They would know for sure. Go to Maxon.net.

Comparison list shows fewer options than C4D Prime.

Have you seen this?

Upon further research it does not appear to support plugins at all. But again check with Maxon to be sure.

Rendering limited to 800x600 lol....... You really need to have C4d Broadcast or Studio to make this even remotely usable! And they can use the Octane plugin.

AE is a real 3D program?
For the purposes of using with Octane?

I don't see it. Mind s'plaining that thought to me?

Just to clarify: I get to use AE everyday and would never want to do 3d in AE. That and the fact that all my images can go to AE, along with markers/nulls/camera motions, such that it makes a great composition tool for my 3d output.
I realize I am missing something you are not.

It would be a dream to use cineware c4d ae workflow with octane incorporated...would need Maxon to offer user choice in the output rendering.
