Here are my first bay steps using Octane on my WIP Mi-24.
Those renders were about 2-3 minutes in HD (Quadro 4000).
I still have to learn a lot about it but it's fun to play around with DOF etc :D
I have to see how to avoid those overbright pixels. The removal parameter somehow blurs the entire image when I go below a certain value.

I hope you like them! Click on the image for full res.

Very nice. Are you by chance using dDo to get all the weathering details, or are you hand painting or photo bashing?

Hi Andre,

i know your MI-24 from 3dmax.de, great to see this amazing model in octane.
Realy looking forward to see the final images!

Have a look into the hdr, maybe there is something generating the overbright pixel. But for now there are not that much, fix it in the post. ;)

Ciao
Andreas

Very nicely done! I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Hind, and your renders show off the quality of the model and texturing very nicely. For baby steps...these are pretty awesome.
