Pressing "Final" in viewport should lock changes?

I was just rendering an image and got it to ~70k s/px when I changed a value in the Octane part of the DAZ Camera. I was quite surprised when the render restarted from 0.

Shouldn't all value changes performed in DAZ main window be locked out from getting through to the Octane while the "Final" button on the Octane viewport is pressed?

I'm not that mad about losing the progress as the image already looked fine and I did make a save of both tone-mapped and unmapped versions before changing the values but still :)

Maybe it is not a bug and it should work like that, but there is a remote chance that it may be a bug so I'm letting you know...

actually they should be locked. at least if it is set up this way in the preferences (for what the final button should do); there are 3 different locks:

- camera switch only (it'll keep the current camera locked, but still allows changes to this camera)
- current camera (it'll lock cam switching and changing cam values, but still allows other changes)
- complete lock (this should keep the rendering from any changes and makes the viewport modal)

...

So, I'm home... Did a quick test. I had a "current camera locked" selected. In this mode however, when I do changes to values of the camera they apply and reset the render.

So the only way to prevent that is the full "viewport lock" which I selected to use from now on...

Still the current camera locked setting feel broken to me as it allows changing values of the camera... Which as I understand the name of the setting it should not, or should it?

you are right, otherwise it wouldn't be any different from the switch lock...
