Hi everyone,

I'm just curious if there is a way to have a textured material converted to an Octane material -- but not have it lose the texture, bump, alpha, normal, etc files. I believe there is a button in the Octane shelf that seems like it would do exactly that, but it does not seem to do so.
I am just curious if I have to re-link everything manually, as some of my models have a great amount of pieces receiving multiple textures.

Thank you!

Unfortunately at this point yes, you have to relink all of the textures. I think some of the other plugins do a better job of conversion than this, like the MAX plugin, I hope Otoy find time to improve the Maya - Octane conversion tools.

Thank you for letting me know; it is good to know that I am at least not doing something wrong. ;)
