Hi. I am a poser/cinema 4d user. My pc has 32gb ram, i7 920, but I need cuda card/s for it. Can someone help me pick a card? For money reasons, I will be buying my secondary card first, and using it until I can afford another, more powerful card. Would I be better off, for example, with (2) 660 ti, or (1) 780? I need some good benchmarks to find the sweet spot.
Thanks!

I am not remotely an expert in this area, but one approach would be to get a 660 or 660Ti initially (about $200-$300) and then get a Titan as your main card. For Poser you need at least 2Gig VRAM, but rarely 3Gig.

Hi, the GTX 780 and the Titan are really from another planet for Octane.
I think you need 4 GTX 660 to come close.
Keep in mind you need also much VRAM because all has to fit in to video memory.

Hi. I went with the Gigabyte Windstream 770 4gb card. I know its not the ideal card, but it allows me to put together a new build as I go, adding the second 770 last. Thanks for the help!
