It seems Octane for Maya doesn't use relative paths per project.
If I work on a Maya scene and pass it on to someone else to continue and they have their maya project file in another location, the texture nodes don't update their paths to current project as set by user. Octane sets absolute paths to textures based on current project file path.
If I copy the maya project and hand it over to someone else, the next person shouldn't have to relink all textures. Can be really tedious and time consuming if working on multiple projects and using many textures.
