Maya Plugin for Maya 2012 x64

I have been seeing a lot about the shadow catcher material, but I cannot find it for the Maya plugin. Everything else for the HDMI setup works great, this is the missing piece.

What you are looking for is the "matte" checkbox on the diffuse material :)

Awesome, thanks! I checked that box and left the other settings at their default and noticed the entire plane I am using still being rendered outside of where the shadows are dropping. Aside from checking the matte box, is there anything else I should adjust before it renders only the shadows?

Everything else is working great, except for the neon tubing deal, but I made that post elsewhere. I really appreciate the help so far! I have learned most of these things via the manual, but a few fine details elude me, even in the tutorials I find scattered about.

You may need to enable the alpha channel in the kernel settings:

Thanks
