Nice job Zargon. I'm a big fan of both the Metal Slug series and Dominion: Tank Police. So cartoon tanks hold a place in my heart 8-)

How would it look if both the headlights and the searchlight were illuminated?

The clouds with daylight environment are really simple. Just a photo of a cloud and custom alpha map on a slightly deformed plane. I deformed the plane so the cloud would pickup highlights from the sun in daylight environment. I added a little texture emission to get the look I wanted.
