I'm doing a huge outer space scene and i cant use the Sun / Skylight system. I have a sphere with a hdri star field mapped to it for the background
I have a spaceship that is the size of a highrise and i need a very distant sun to cast a hard shadow on the spaceship.
I can't seem to max out the octane sphere light. Tried using a blackbody emission maxed out and still not bright enough. The size of the emitter must be small to cast sharp shadows.
Anyone have luck with this kinds of scenes?

If you have set this scene to accurate scale then this would be the issue. Try reducing the scale to be around 10x to 20x smaller, this will compensate with bring back the light intensity.
