Hello,
Currently there is an issue inside the Lightwave 11.6 pre-release SDK that could make Octane plugin crash as soon as user try to enable it. We are working on fixing this problem since we discover it some weeks ago. Lightwave developer team want to fix it to make possible use the same plugin for all Lightwave 11.x versions, but if it is not possible for the final 11.6 release I will release a new plugin build for the 11.6 to fix the problem.
Thanks for your support.

Since I want to still use the scene, now, I have to go in and strip octane out from the scene.
Since it won't open, notepad, or similar, is the only way to get in and do it.
And there are lots of parts of Octane in the scene file, I noticed.
