Maybe I missed the step in the instructions on the first post.. But it started working after I copied the Octane.DAT Octane.DLL and vcomp100.dll files to the root Cinema 4D folder. Everything seems ok now.

i have tested for this problems, and i found that was generally a conflicting with some plugins (TurbulenceFD, etc..). These plugins are intercepting to load Octane System files correctly.

Yes that's how I got it to work and still have TFD installed but Octane felt a lot more prone to weird behaviour so I uninstalled TFD and took the files out of the C4D root and it's pretty rock solid now...

I only had the TFD demo installed so it was no problem for me...

And just FYI.. The only other plugin I have installed was the Octane Exporter. ;)
