I have been using Revit+AutoCAD+Photoshop to produce most of my marketing materials for architectural projects since 2012; however I am looking to progress, and am slowly moving all this to REVIT + 3DS max design.
I have also recently switched/upgraded/downgraded

Is it possible to use my old (but still powerful) desktop workstation in the following setups:
=1=
Mobile workstation modelling in REVIT -> 3DS design max -> 3DS Octane plugin -> network render queue manager -> desktop w/ LINUX octane engine.
=2=
mobile workstation REVIT -> REVIT Octane Pluging -> Net/node mngr -> desktop w/ LINUX Octane engine
I'm after a set&forget&collect workflow achieved with cloud rendering with zero downtime from submitting to starting setup on the next image.
NB: I need Linux on the old workstation for a variety of reasons; but it also seems to outperform windows on all fronts.
=3=
last question, can I dream of cutting 3DS from the workflow once the revit octane engine is here? or am I dreaming?
Thanks for your time,
