As I was doing stuff in Octane, I decided I would turn the priority to low for a moment, never used that feature before... after a while I set it back to full priority and moments later the card got fried...

If you ever had a 470/480 you know how hot this things get, and it is probably a coincidence, and was going to happen sooner or later, anyway I felt I had to let you know this happened to me while using the priority feature. Regards.

if you purchased it new, it should have a lifetime warranty.

Oh, I will definetely look into that (I have to ask EVGA in my case then?).

Oh, also this: http://modcrash.com/nvidia-display-driv ... ging-gpus/ ... it seems 318.20 WHQL driver has been reported to damage GPUs, overheating etc...

Update your driver! http://www.dsogaming.com/news/nvidia-ge ... e-on-gpus/

Ya, contact EVGA. I hope you registered the card when you first got it...

Weird thought they came with a lifetime warranty. My PNY 580s have a lifetime warranty.
