I´m really thankful for your hard work and the ongoing process. so thumbs up

Here are some "errors" that I encountered:
C4D still freezes from time to time. (I was undoing a material setting while live previewing. When I touched the material in C4D it froze and I had ti kill the process)
Octane still looses texture paths.
Explanation of the Problem:
I have set a custom texture folder in the C4D "Edit" "Preferences" "Files" "Texture Paths"
I did this so I can use C4D on my laptop and do not have to change all the paths of an materials textures all the time. And also don´t have to deal with multiple copes of materials in every Tex folder for every scene.
Now when I pick a texture with "Octane" "Image Texture" out of the custom folder (where most of my textures are stored) C4D does not include the full file path but only the file name.
This works for C4D as C4D searches the Tex Folder (next to the .c4d file) and the specified paths under "Edit" "Preferences" "Files" "Texture Paths".
Sadly octane is not able to remember this Texture and looses it sooner or later.
I think the best way to fix this would be to make Octane pick op the full path of the file when selecting it under "Octane" "Image Texture". That way you avoid the process of manually writing down the full path for every file you load which is pretty annoying!
EDIT
C4D freezes almost every time when I try to copy and paste all or some of the Objects of an existing octane scene to a new and fresh one.
The only workaround I found so far is to put the OctaneC4D Folder out of the C4D Plugins hierarchy for that and later put it in again!
Wish List:
- + Properly sized startup Windows. I always have to enlarge the settings window to see all the functions.
+ Good readable info graph GIU (Render time, Used Memory etc.) Maybe included in the Settings window or an extra window.
+ Turned on important sampling "Imp. Samp." in the Texture Environment by default. (As in Octane standalone). I had forgotten to urn this on several times resulting in unnecessary long render times.
+ Node based Materials as in Octane Standalone as the C4D Material system can be quite confusing and devious.
Cheers,
