Interesting. The new Revit 2014 geometry API still does not expose decals - so in the Revit plugin you need to add some geometry (ie. Model in place->Extrusion on the wall for a picture) and assign a new material to it, then the Octane material for that new material can have the decal texturemap in the diffuse channel. So very doable, but requires the step of creating the geometry.Though decals works fine using the collada exporter.
Revit > Octane?

I use the collada exporter from Lumion and import into cinema 4d...and later, I use the octane exporter from standalone....
