The future of Octane in mac

Hi! After the presentation of the new macpro with Ati cards its difficult to imagine a future of Octane in professional studios.. the only alternative now are the imacs but then,if Apple changes the new imacs to Ati too, there will not be future for Octane in the mac ecosystem...unless the cloud edition appears...

I was thinking on create my own design studio using zbrush-c4d-octane-photoshop, probably changing to modo in a future (hope the octane live plugin will be ready soon) but this new movement on the Apple side makes me think on rely everything on pcs or macs....

Any thought about this? :roll:

thunderbolt conected boxes - that's the answer =) and in te end..w7 custom rigs will be the my best bet if I would do smth.

& it's too earlly to say, 'cos we might see nViadias cards adopted too, but I doubt this option would be cost effective.

for the last word I don't see a reason to freak out because of apple decision =) this isn't only.. just possible option =)
