Hi everyone,
we are very proud to announce yet another integrated plug-in that is being developed for Rhino by face_off. Rhino users will soon be able to experience the incredible speed and quality of OctaneRender inside their viewport, allowing an instantaneous photoreal preview of the scene while editing cameras, lights, materials and objects in the scene.

As the OctaneRender for Rhino integrated plug-in is nearing the beta phase and will be released in a few weeks as a beta product, we would like to set up a small group of 5 experienced Inventor users to help us test the new plugin product before we release it.
To participate in the closed beta, you need a copy of Rhino and have extensive experience with using the software. You will also need to be prepared to invest a reasonable amount of time into testing the plug-in and reporting issues and bugs to the plug-in developer (face_off). Good written English communication skills are required and participants will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to becoming part of the beta group.
If you think you have what it takes and would like to participate, please reply to this thread and introduce yourself by showing some screenhots.
We will pick the participants once we have enough applicants. In return for your help in testing the new product, you will receive a free copy/license of the plug-in, which you can keep when the beta testing period is over.
Cheers,
the OTOY NZ team

I'm not sure what you mean by this. The plugin uses the standard Rhino UI controls and widgets, so the plugin window's (panels) follow the same look and feel as the Rhino windows. I think it looks very neat and is easy to use and has a fast workflow. I think Rhino users will be very happy.interface disgusting

For me you are doing a perfect job!
The important thing is not to have a nice plugin but one plugin useful and perfectly integrated ... then there will be time to improve then in other aspects less important!

Hi, Face_off, I am a rhino user from China, I use Rhino for 10 years. I really can't express my thoughts in English freely indeed, but I'll do my best. Wish i could participate in the octane for rhino beta.

Greetings. I am a long time Octane user (since early beta days) and long time Rhino user (since v1.0).
I am currently running Rhino 4 and Rhino 5 for commercial and consulting work and using Octane and another rendering engine for production work. I would like to test out the new Rhino plug-in as an alternative/future workflow.
I have an i7 system with dual EVGA GT 660s and would be happy to help out with feedback and testing.
Thank you.
Rick
