2 v4 figures, scene props. No error about textures or anything else. Locked resolution to 1280x960, default render target, open viewport, and starts to render for a second, then freezes. I have attached the Octane Plug log.

Now it's happening in Poser 2012

Could you post the cuda.log file too pls? It is in the same folder as the octaneplugin.log. If you click "Image File Statistics" in the Settings tab, or the texturemap numbers and sizes within the card limits? If you reboot and try again, does it render? Does it render at a lower resolution? Are other scenes rendering OK?

Scenes from scratch are working fine. I usually build scenes on my laptop, run a scene collector, copy to my desktop computer. I was playing around with same exact scene last night, and had no problem. Now, crashing.

And no, if I reboot and try again, same results

When you say "crashing", what does that mean? Are you getting an error message? Is Poser crashing to the desktop?

A few other things to think about....
1) The first step in any diagnosis process is to reboot and confirm the problem still exists.
2) Make sure you do not have the Octane Setup window open on Poser 2012 and Poser 2014 at the same time - since your video card will not have the capacity for both of their textures etc
3) Open Windows Task Manager and make sure you do not have a second copy of Poser 2014 running in the background (it can happen)
4) If you have a problem with a particular scene, start deleting figures/props from the scene to see if that fixes it

Crashing in Poser 2014 still. (freezing up when open viewport)
Poser 2012 seems to be working ok now. Maybe because they were built in Poser 2012 on laptop and transfered to Desktop (same version and SR) Poser 2014 doesn't like it. Guess I just start building scenes from scratch in Poser 2014, since that seems to work ok.
