IBL is the way to be if you can get good maps (http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=146). Supplement with a couple of emitters if needed. I use emitters as little is possible, since they render slower. In your opinion, what is the best way to Light scene? IBL, no IBL, just a few standard spot lights converted to emitters?
Have you got auto-refresh turned on? The emitter is just like only other scene geometry, and the vertex positions will be updated when changed in Poser if auto-refresh is on.after emitters are created, moving them in Poser does not show a change in light. I guess I have to delete them, reposition lights and run python script for emitters again?
