I have seen sevearl posts and tutorials on how to achieve fog but I was under the impression that this was going to be a built in feature at some point. Any word on when we will be getting the ability to use the fog feature promised? http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/20 ... ality.aspx

Sorry I missed it, I thought I was up on this, I have 1.7 and 1.8 where is it located in the program? Is it a node? (Sorry I cant open Octane right now because I switched to a new computer with 4 video cards and I am getting the infamous black screen in Octane.)

It is available through some parameters of the Medium and needs to be applied to a volume including the camera. For my own I use a sphere parented to the camera, with normals pointing inside : the medium is outside.
