I have been asking for this since buying Octane last fall.
Otoy does not disclose what features are coming, but Abstrax & Co have heard
me loud and clear.. they know very well that me and at least a handful of other
dudes want this very, very badly. Hopefully, after 1.20, they will be adding this
and it will be in one of the coming release candidates... I can only hope.
If all goes well, we will not only have invisible to camera, but also invisible to rays
(shadows/reflections) and possibly make objects/surfaces invisible/visible to alpha
as well. *crosses fingers.. again*
But just invisible to camera would be HUGE.. and allow me to work in LW with almost
complete freedom to work the way I do, and not have to resort to any munky-bizness
to make things happen (render separate mask images as 24bit b/w or use MatID).

Yes.
This is a cross-app need.
Much like my exif request: all apps could make use of such available information.
