Good afternoon. Noticed errors when loading the textures in the Environment Tag. The program instantly collapses. The same was in the previous version. The same outcome leads rotation in Live Viewer. The program also falls. Sorry for the English)

Is there any way to to restart the renderer without losing what has already been rendered?
I noticed this two with the latest versions. Basically, it looks as if everything freezes but if you let it sit it "catches up" and continues. This can take minutes .During that time everything feels frozen.
I've also noticed a lot more crashing with this version (.6.4)
Thanks
Alec
I usually leave a GPU free. Not always. Does it matter?

My problems with halting animations continues.
After 10 minutes the render was still stalled.
Here is a screenshot of a halted test animation attached.
I should mention that both of my two GPUs was set to render.

+1 This happened in 0.5.9 tooArtyomPapikyan wrote:when downloading any texture in Octane material program crashes ((( all the way to the textures on English. this problem just me or someone else is suffering because of this?

1) When downloading material from the LiveDB *or*
2) When adding an HDR into the Environment slot.
@Aoktar, I haven't been able to use a version since 0.5.7 (the combed histogram version). 0.5.0 is my last fully working solution.
I'm confused now about what bits of program should go where? We've come a long way from 0.3.4. I still have octane.dat and octane.dll in my main C4D directory but I've seen some people say you should delete these. If I delete them C4D crashes on startup every time. I don't have any Octane windows etc. in my layout. I can only use 0.5.0 onwards with these dat & dll files in place. Is this correct?
I'd love to continue beta testing but have work to do and I seem to be going backwards in my luck with getting any version after 0.5.0 to work!
Thanks for any help... appreciate sometimes things have to break to get a better solution

I suppose, there is a uncorrect *.dat and *.dll usage. I have checked now with older octane.dat and dll, this gives much more crashes.
I'm impatient to getting updates to you but this can give some confusing. I'm preparing installer for this problems.

Hi This is how to install on Windows
1. Delete all octane files from the Cinema root folder
2. Put the c4dOctane folder into the plugin folder
3. Make sure the 64 lib folder and 32 lib folders are in the c4dOctane folder
If you do this is should work fine.
There is no need to put any files in the root folder in the newer versions.
Only the 0.50 version use the root folder installs.
