Hi,

sorry, asked for this already,
but I really need some material setup tutorials!

For example:
- Where to place the "dirt" shader?
- For bump: should I add a "image texture" shader and
set the mode to "flow" or should I add a "float-shader" from the list?
- How do I get correct saturated colors? (c4d LW turning on does not change anything)
- "Shader to texture" how does it work - "which" c4d shaders are supported?

The manual just lists all the available octane shaders without telling
how th use them.

I know, I can look at the mats from LiveDB, but the mats are not sorted
in categorys like dirt or SSS.
Am I the only stupid, who does not know where to place which channels?

Sadly I noticed, that the problem with loosing bitmaps occures again in this version.

regards

Please little patient, we have more critical issues to be fixed. I'm going to do some tutorials for spesific nodes and problems. At this moment you can follow standalone tutorials, because concept is exactly same. Did you check some samples for material usage?

LiveDb categories is not my control. But if you downloading materials your scene must be saved before. Because it uses project folder to collect textures

For linear workflow, update your plugin 0.64 which has revised color settings. It is exactly same as Standalone, it uses linearspace for colors

Shader to texture" how does it work?
If you enable and your scene is saved will works. Currently it's a testing feature and i'm not sure how many nodes is supported. Next releases will workaround for that, it is quickly implemented for some users
