- If you "extent your VRam" Octane will still be limited to the lowest VRam of the cards.
- As far as I know Nvidia Grid doesn't add the VRam size together, so it will be limited to 4 GB I guess until there is a Grid Systems with more VRam in use.
- If you have a good case (with good air flow) you don't need water cooling with Titans (unless you heavily overclock)

getting 3 titans will help you as they have the most Ram. You'll have 6 gig and all the blistering speed of 3 Titan's cores.
