Hello
In one file I texture a whole room, in another file I texture the outside of the house. How could I do to mix the two files together without loosing the work I done in the standalone?

Thank you

You should be able to copy all the nodes from one file and paste them into the other. Then you work will no longer be loose (or tight).

you can save a complex setup as a macro, and import it in an other file. Most of my scenes are made of many macros (one for each vehicle, house, character... for example).

You combine them with geometry groups and adjust their location using the placement nodes.

Thank you.
But I don't know, on PC, but on Mac Standelone the Placement node is practically non usable. You have to enter numeric value via the keypad (it's a mess). The slider are working fancy.
I did't have time to say this to Otoy (now it's done ;) )

bye

It is how it works, I don't see the problem. anyway with big scenes and complex objects, the slow refresh time of the display doesn't allow the use of sliders.
