These are brilliant!
Shadows of the statues on the wall on the right of the first image is a bit strange. Is this an artifact of GI?
Also, tell me you don't run all 6 those cards simultaneously...?

I think it looks fantastic, congratulations. I notice the shadows of the earth globe and statue on the wall, they look a bit odd... or maybe not, sometimes looking at the work of people in this forum I forget how real things look
What sort of HDRI do you use for an interior like this? A sky with clouds, a studio one? Or do you make your own?

hi all thanks for your suggest and critics!! it's Great !!
*************************************
Just FYI, for mixing two images I proceed as follows, an image rendered with the sun, disables the environment, an image rendered with HDRI as light source.
Then in photoshop, overlay 40/50% of the first image on the hdri rendering. that's all.
I think I'm right? if you have another trick, I'm interested.
Octane does not handle background pictures you have to fend as we can ^ ^

Yes is Artfact... and no i use only one GTX690 for testSeekerfinder wrote:Seekerfinder

OUCH!!! In fact I have not seen this detail on the bricks! let me thank you notesdaveyt wrote:Hi Visuall, as usuall they are looking very nice,
I like the lighting in the first image most.
The only critic I have is the brickwork has two
different scales.
all the best
I use a exterior HDRI for interior lighting...it is not trivial but it works pretty well;) must do something every time adjustment on the HDRI, lower gamma among others.Leonardo wrote:I think it looks fantastic, congratulations. That's very interesting, thanks for sharing the tricks!
I've also found myself playing with the HDRI gamma more often than not, to get better shadows.
So the HDRI you use for this image in particular is an exterior one, I see? I mean vegetation all around, 360 degrees, with sky above and grass/ ground below?
Have a good weekend

would that correspond to 'overlay' mode in the english version?
always been curious to how this mix of sun and hdri is done...
Nice images, but I think your camera needs to be 90 degrees to the brick wall, as it's not quite, and it might as well be 90 degrees
and then, with a scene like this, would you just model each brick or 5 or 6 variants of?

workstation well past its sell-by-date, Vista 64 bit (!) with a pitiful amount of RAM, re-invigorated with a GX 590
