Do you use Modo for 3d modellation?I can imagine that you use layers without no problem...
another "free" option / workaround if you don't have modo is to use blender.

Thanks Radiance and Daniel...

I will use for the moment Blender because is free...I don't know it but I think it's no a problem save my file in obj--->Blender--->Octane. This morning I will study it! ;)

@Radiance: Do you think that the problem with Rhino is completely solved with next release?

yes, mcneel associates have pointed out the issues and we're fixing them.
we've a large list of stuff for 2.2 so it's scheduled for sometime next week, it might not make it into the first 2.2 RC (which focusses on multi GPU), but then the RC2 shortly after.
RC's are only available to customers currently though, so as a demo users you will have to wait until they have gone our of RC phase and we have updated the demo download pages.

looks cool :) I think you need to reduce the bump and add some noise to the spec.
Is the blur on the prop DOF or motion blur?

I've made 2 new renders, with a new spec map this time:

Really great !
Good textures, particularly on the tyres and the plane's sides
Maybe the rims are too clean
