confused about what is the latest release...

in the news section on the website homepage it says that daz v1.10 is released yet under the downloads section in the account area there is only the 1.0 beta available for download and in the CURRENT thread it says that version v1.0.111.2158 is the current latest version. I dunno. Its all a bit confuzzling to me.

I think there are too many version numbers and threads and download areas and places to search for to get stuff. Just my opinion anyway.

Still like octane render though.

when do we get displacement mapping? I really really need it for my short film project. I want to build terrains in vue infinite. import them into daz, then give them a lot more texture with displacement mapping as i cannot save enough detail currently when i export the meshes from vue. also with displacement mapping i will then get proper realistic shadows as the sun moves in the sky.

hey orion uk. it definitely says on the latest news board octane render for DAZ STUDIO 1.10 released. maybe a typo?

any idea when the next update is due? I already mentioned it in another post a couple of days ago buti cannot render any animations.

I can't give you an exact time but the animation issues are being worked on currently, try and hold on in there on

As for the 1.10 thing.. not sure what to say right now, will take a look once the kids are at school
