Hello,
I have a little problem concerning transmission of glass elements. If I covered a glass element over a e.g. stone element the glass elemnt is complete dark instead to be transparent and showing the covered surface - how I can handle this problem?

what kernel do you use ?

Try this
-increase specular depth
-decrease rayepsilon
-don't use AO

You probably need to enable fake shadows for the glass material.

Hello at all,
@bicket, thank you for your tipps. To increase specular depth in combination with decreasing rayepsilon leads to no result. If I avoid AO than it works but unfortunately I loos the complete AO-Shadows in the entire szene.

@roeland, yes you are right but if I enable all fake shadows (without AO) than I loose the complete shadows in to the szene.

Best regards, Udo

Hallo at all,
now I found a way not ideale but workable. You must adjust the AO shadows with the AOdist slider than you get a workable result.

Best regards, Udo
