VERSION Beta 0.49 (SDK 1.14)
Hi all,
New Features
- Improved geometry update functionality
- Background/Foreground images with alpha (at this moment only for Live View, in development )
- Material previews for content browser
- Sdk 1.14 features
- Improved stability, fixes for bugs
- Multipass rendering (support c4d/octane channels, please report missing channels)
- Load ocs works but has a limitation. Cannot load sub nodegraph materials
- Save ocs will crash because need exported obj file( i'm going implement soon)
- Livedb material manager
- Objecttag for realtime geometry updates
- Improved daylighttag( sun size, sun/sky color)
- Improved realtime updates for bitmap sequences
Roadmap:
-Some fixes on material system
-Optimisations
-Better color sliders
-Save/load ocs improvements
-Material node editor
INSTALLATION:
Remove all octane and plugin related old files. And copy files to c4doctane folder under plugins directory.
REPORTS:
If you encounter any crash or problems, please post this thread.
If it possible put some crash report files, picture or video captures, scene files, etc.....

I hear that Geometry motion blur is far, but camera blur is in near future

Hopefully there will be a motion blur update soon
Would it be possible to get the sub-step motion blur to work so we don´t stuck with no option till we get full geo motion blur?

re: motionblur - you can now use the multipass feature to render out a motion vector pass to use with post blur.
