Hi all

I am experimenting with HDRI probes, struggling with how to use a background with them i tried loading a BG image i poser but the HDRI image seems to over write it, is there a way to either make the HDRI transparent so i can add a BG post work or add a BG image in Octane ?

thanks

You can add a plane prop in Poser, paste the background image onto it, and that will render well in Octane (altho the plane itself will block HDRI light from behind).

In general, I never use background image- I just use the HDRI for the background. IMHO this works extremely and gives very realistic results.

EDIT: You can also turn on alpha (kernel settings), and then paste the resulting render over a background image in photoshop.
