Hi just testing out the demo and have noticed that the geometry is not updated in the interactive viewport such as moving geometry unless I press the refresh button. Is this a limitation with the demo version or am I missing pressing a button in the settings somewhere for this to happen? Or maybe its because I'm using max 2014?
Thanks in advance.
Kyle
Octane for 3ds max demo automatic updating of geometry?

Hi Darkmalan,
Mark the geometry as "movable proxy", then moving it (or other transform) will be updated without a geometry refresh.
Otherwise this is normal. Any changes in geometry will need to be re-compiled and re-sent to the GPU (hence needing to hit the refresh). Right click on the object and select "octane properties" and tick "movable proxy".
Thanks
Chris.
