Yes, I know about those tricks and I think they were a clever idea to overcome the CUDA limitations. Conversely, I had some issues with the plugin related to this and other things discussed in another thread. I noticed, those grouping were a great idea to overcome the CUDA slot limitations, but I had some issues with the default types of materials converted by the plugin, and also how the default groups were organized.
