Gidday Jim Star,
Hope Berkinhead is treating you well. I lived in Devonport for a while. Loved it. Congrats mate.

I have done a couple of "camera move only" movies I tried and in both cases I get a kind-of jitter that is not in the playblast movies.

Any idea what might be causing it? It is smooth as a babies bottom when rendered out in Maya

Sorry, I have not very good understood, can you please explain more detailed? Do you rendered this movie in Maya plugin?.. Or somewhere else (and in Maya it was "smooth")?..

It's hard to say as I did not see the scene... Have you checked the camera and look-at coordinates in verbose log? Are they correct?..

It is a standard camera with with no look-at node with auto focus on the octane side.

I just did a real quick test with a camera only move and standard camera with auto focus for 120 frames and it was all smooth in octane...

So I guess it is on my end and back to the drawing board as to why it might be doing it... I'll keep you posted if I figure it out

My guess is that auto focus makes the jitter. I'll try to disable it and do some keyframe animation there.

I tried turning auto focus off and key framing teh focal points and still got the jitter.
I have to do some simple tests to check it... but too busy trying to get real work done : > ))
