really scary approach....
I think that Mental Images should learn something from Otoy...
Otoy...please, buy Mental Images and delete from earth iray.
Why pay more Max 2014 if this piece of software doesn't work?...specially with Titans
Titans are built by Nvidia or Ati???? Hamlet doubt...
Autodesk...c'mon!

Im with you on this one. Really? Autodesk... one of the biggest 3d company's with more resources than any other company can't get i-ray working properly in Maya or max after 3 years... wow!!!
Glad Octane came along

Really? Iray still not working with Keplers? This sucks.
Works good with Fermi though. The new Iray caustic sampler is fast. Octane caustics is bad and don't get near Iray.
I made a quick test with Iray and it rendered very fast. Under 2 min per frame at 720p using 2xGTX 560.
Octane devs really have to rethink their caustics code cause in scenes like this Octane is useless.
