would be nice to know more about your scene (did you used the daylight system even in AO mode and Diffuse or just in one of they?).
I think that the overall aspect is good but there is something that should be "adjusted" (for my tastes of course
):
- better/more realistic brick texture (don't know if you have used a bump map, but no relief is visible)
- I guess that you have used a texture for the fireplace structure (due to the visible grain), bigger resolution is needed
- adjust the UVmapping of the vertical parts of the wood seat (and maybe adding a little bump and lower down the reflectivity value or the glossiness)
- the chrome material looks not too good (I usually find really useful mixing two glossy materials one with inex at 0% and the other with it's default index...both with black diffuse color)
cheers, Paolo

hi Paolo,
the image is made from two shot .1 of them using AO mode 4(diffuse)
and the other using Ao mode 3 with daylight system (new)1
then using gimp added one to the other.
your right about the brick and fireplace texture, it needs to be revised,
will edit the chrome too.
thanks for you input.
