Thanks to the Octane Render Integrated plugin for Cinema 4D, i have decided to refresh one of my first scene made with Octane Render standalone. The first animation could be seen here: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... en&start=0
A big thanks to the "fake shadow" option, I have also added some details with marvelous designer 2.
DL AO mode for about 3 minutes per frame at 1280x720, 2048 samples with 2x GTX590.

hi, the "fake shadow" option is a new option for specular materials introduced by 1.11. enabling this gives the ability of rendering the fog and the god-rays, but also has a great impact on specular glass and specular sss in DL AO and diffuse mode. With all the kernels is now possible to use the specular materials in the windows with sun light passing through it, great improvement
