Hi all,
I have just begun to test octane for C4D.
I guess a problem with the gama of HDR image wich is called in texture environment tag.
By default, it is setted on "2.2", and contrast is very strong. I have to set it on "1" to get the same gama that I get when i work directly on Octane main software.

salut Vincent,

hi Vincent,
I think that you must put a function "image texture" tag in your environment
and after you put your hdr.Comme that you can adjust the gamma;)
j have also noticed that the gamma slideder appears inverted compared to Vray.
gamma 0.45 is very clear that while 2.2 gamma seems darker and contrasted.
if it can t help ...

cornel wrote:Hi folks,
purchased it on thursday - but still waiting for download instructions.
Any way to accelerate the process? I was hoping to get my hands on it by the weekend. A real pity.
Welcome and enjoy it. Apperance of download takes a little time. I don't know why.

I published a test release on Cinema 4D forum.
This is only for R14/64bit for testing and previewing for fixes and new features.
Next release will contain SDK 1.13.

Enjoy it,
Ahmet
